The Arabs for Democracy Website is a virtual think tank that advocates for democracy in the Arab World through raising awareness about the importance of a democratic transition within the Arab governments and the political parties. This is to be achieved through research and policy studies, open discussions, networking researchers, publication and documentation, and providing resources and studies which are related to the Democracy in the Arab World.

Multinational Think Tanks

The Brookings Doha Center is an initiative of the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at Brookings that undertakes independent, policy-oriented research on the socioeconomic and geopolitical issues facing Muslim-majority states and communities, including relations with the United States. Research and programming is guided by the Brookings Doha Center International Advisory Council chaired by H.E. Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani and co-chaired by Brookings President Strobe Talbott.

The Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) is a British institution, but operates with an international perspective. It has amassed over the years an unequalled expertise in its field and an outstanding reputation for quality and objectivity. RUSI(Qatar) was opened with the invaluable support of His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabr Al-Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.

The Center for International and Regional Studies (CIRS), located in Doha, Qatar, is a center for international and regional affairs. The Center is a part of Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in Qatar (SFS-Qatar). The Center works closely with SFS-Qatar Faculty to create research and publications, organize events and manage outreach activities.
Founded in 2005, the Center works mainly in four areas: research, events and conferences, outreach and publications.
